Even for those who decided not to chase the cheese, there was still plenty to do at the Cheese Rolling Festival. Everyone cheered for their favourite cheese roller. They tasted a wide variety of cheeses made from 100% Canadian milk from local producers. Kids participated in uphill races and other fun activities. It was fun all around, even for those who didn't come home full of dirt.
Cheese seminars
Cheese specialist Reg Hendrickson of Dairy Farmers of Canada answered everyone's questions and shared his knowledge of cheeses made from 100% Canadian milk.
